Phase II Instruction Begins the week of Sept. 28th

2020-2021 Peach County Schools Return to School Plan: Phase II as Approved by the School Board during a Called Board Meeting on July 16, 2020

Phase II of the Hybrid Model Learning Options will begin September 28, 2020 and will extend through December 18, 2020.

Phase II includes the following Learning Options:

- In-Person Instruction and Distance Learning (Students attend four days In-Person Instruction and Distance Learning on Monday)

- 100% Distance Learning is available to students for the entire 2020-2021 school year. Commitments will be for a minimum of a grading period for elementary students and a semester for middle and high school students. Parents will be responsible for providing a device and internet service. Students will not be allowed to participate in after school extracurricular activities to include sports, band, clubs, and CTAE Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) during that time.

Chose your Phase II Instructional Choice by Sept. 18th
Phase II Instruction

Deadline approaching for the upcoming transitions for our students. Parents wanting to change from online to in person instruction, or in person instruction to online, will have to go to the Peach Co. Schools website by September 18, and make a request for the change to be approved. The link below will allow you to put your request to change:

The change will begin at the end of Phase I which starts September 29th. You are locked in to your original selection until then. Beginning September 29th, all in person students will be in school 4 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This is considered Phase II and will last until January. Any change request made after September 18th, will not be approved until January.

Upcoming Events


The new Hunt Elementary School was first occupied at the end of the 2009-2010 school year with Dr. Banter as principal.  August 2020 begins our eleventh complete school year at this new location on US Highway 341, Fort Valley, GA in Peach County with Damika Glover as Principal , and Keysha King as Assistant Principal.  We currently have approximately 700 students from grades Pre-Kindergarten to Fifth Grade learning and growing at our school.
